Lunatraktors: Our Deepest Apologies
Saturday 10 January – Saturday 24 January 2026
In Our Deepest Apologies, Carli Jefferson and Clair Le Couteur bring together nine years of Lunatraktors practice, moving between costume, video, audio, sculpture, performance and installation. The root of ‘apology’ is apologia-a formal defense of ideas, beliefs, or actions, rather than an expression of regret. At the heart of Lunatraktors’ work is a similar tension: how do we grapple with the past? How do we connect to heritages so tainted with imperial violence and misrepresentation? Who have we been, who are we now, and who might we become?
Please join us at GOMA Waterford on Saturday 10th January 2026 from 6-8pm for the official launch of Our Deepest Apologies, with an opening night reception and performance by Lunatraktors. Entry is free and all are welcome!
