Custom House Studios are located upstairs overlooking the harbour at The Quay in Westport. As well as these artists, there is a continuing programme accommodating international visiting artists to spend time working in Westport at Custom House Studios. This is a most interesting aspect of the programme as it allows an opportunity for artists to develop works based o their experiences in Westport and its surrounds. Under this initiative, artists have visited from many countries, including Japan, USA, Canada, England, Holland, Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, as well as from Ireland.
