Tipperary Excel Centre

Tipperary Excel Centre is a large culture and arts centre. It includes a theatre, cinemas, an art gallery, a tourist office, an interpretive centre and a shop and café. Visitors can enjoy drama, music, ballet and much more in the Simon Ryan Theatre, watch the latest films in the cinemas, or see the work of well-known local and national artists in the art gallery. Tourist Information Point, a cafe, and the County Family History reserch Centre. Open daily -all year round. Siamsa Tíre, National Folk Theatre & Arts Centre

Founded in 1974, Siamsa Tíre is home to the National Folk Theatre of Ireland. The Siamsa Tíre mission is to reflect Ireland’s great wealth of music, dance and folklore on stage, through vibrant, colourful theatrical entertainment and to continue creating new folk theatre presentations drawing on our traditions and a rich cultural reservoir. The Summer Season (from April to October) offers a programme of rare and exciting shows which continue to receive standing ovations both here and abroad. Throughout the rest of the year, Siamsa Tíre presents a programme of drama, music, dance and literary events. A continuous calendar of visual arts events runs throughout the year in the galleries. Performances: Monday to Thursday, Saturday - for May and June Monday to Saturday - for July and August Monday to Thursday, Saturday – September Varied programme throughout the rest of the year.

Set Theatre

Set Theatre is a 252-seated- and 350-standing-capacity venue. It is a state of the art venue decorated to an extremely high standard throughout. The theatre is located next to Langtons Hotel on Johns street; it was designed by the David Collins Studio.

Roscommon Arts Centre

Roscommon Arts Centre is a vibrant, purpose built arts space with a year-round programme of events taking place in the centre’s gallery, auditorium and workshop spaces. The visual art progamme consists of between 6 & 8 shows per year and artists are selected via both open call and invitation. Roscommon Arts Centre also commissions artists to create new work and engage with comunitites of interest. The exhibition programme is supported by both education and engagement programmes.

Riverbank Arts Centre

Located just off the M7 motorway, 40 minutes from Dublin City, Riverbank Arts Centre is lively, atmospheric and convenient; a high quality venue which caters for a range of interests and age groups. From theatre, music and comedy to children's events and cinema, Riverbank Arts Centre provides an intimate setting for a broad variety of shows.

Ramor Theatre

Opened in 1999 Ramor Theatre is located in Virginia on the main Cavan Dublin road. Originally a Catholic church this beautifully restored building now houses the Theatre. There is a full programme of events covering all the performing Arts including Dramas, Concerts (Classical, Traditional & Popular), Musicals, Opera and Ballet.

POD

POD first opened in 1993 in the vaults of the old historic Railway Station on Harcourt St. It has been providing quality clubbing in a variety of guises for over 10 years. The cutting edge design juxtaposed the preserved stark grey stone walls of the vaults with colourful soft furnishings and shimmering candlelight. The opening of POD coincided with the arrival of club culture in Dublin and as loud as it was dazzling the cavernous club immediately wowed the city’s emerging clubbing fraternity. Within the same building other Dublin hotspots have since popped up, including Red Box and Crawdaddy.

Peacock Theatre

The Peacock is dedicated primarily to the presentation of new plays and contemporary classic drama. Ireland's National Theatre, comprising the Abbey and Peacock Theatres, was founded in 1904. The Peacock Theatre is situated under the Abbey foyer and the entrance is alongside the Abbey building on Lower Abbey Street.

O’Reilly Theatre

The space comprises one large theatre space. With fully retractable raked seating and a motorized stage platform, the auditorium is a highly adaptable space and boasts one of the widest stages in Dublin, which can accommodate 590 people seated or 1000 people standing. The O'Reilly Theatre also boasts extensive backstage facilities and dressing rooms, a bar/refreshment area, a lecture theatre and meeting rooms.

Mullingar Arts Centre

Mullingar Arts Centre, located adjacent to the County Council offices, offers courses for children and adults in arts, piano, Irish Dancing and Ballet. Theatre events include Drama, concerts, recitals, opera and children’s shows.
