Croke Park Stadium

Croke Park has been at the heart of Irish sporting life for over a hundred years. Boasting a capacity for 82,300 people, the stadium is the home of Gaelic Games and the headquarters of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). Theatre Royal

The Theatre Royal, as the premiere venue in the South East, plays host to the best national and international touring artists and companies and with the assistance of Waterford City Council and The Arts Council is increasingly seeking to mount its own productions for the people of the city and the region.

Village

The Village Brings New Life To Dublin. The Village is a totally new building constructed on the site of the old Mean Fiddler complex at 26 Wexford Street. It is a sister venue of Whelans, the well known live music venue next door. The Village comprises over 1200M SQ. of bars and entertainment space on three floors. The Village Bar is the perfect place to chill out at the end of the day, in a cosy relaxed ambience. Food is served from Monday to Friday until 8.30pm and our delicious menu caters for most tastes. Our resident DJs take to the decks every night from 10pm and our bar stays open late seven nights a week for all you late night revellers.

The Source Arts Centre

The Source Arts Centre and Thurles Library share a large, dedicated gallery space.


The Source Arts Centre programmes a range of professional solo and group visual art exhibitions in varying media several times a year. The Source Gallery is jointly programmed by the Artistic Director, Brendan Maher and local artist and visual art advisor to The Source Arts Centre, PJ O'Connell. The Source was delighted to work with Curator in Residence, Annette Moloney in 2015-16. This programme was supported by the Arts Council.
The Source Gallery shows the work of professional artists of national, regional and local interest. It also brings work to Thurles from national collections. The gallery endeavours, where possible, to provide an outreach programme to accompany each show. The outreach programme generally includes a public talk by the artist and an educational element in the form of an artist talk or workshop for local school children.

Helix, The

The Helix comprises three different auditoria, Mahony Hall, The Theatre and The Space, alongside a visual art gallery and these are all contained in a truly breath taking building designed by A&D Wejchert. Despite a proliferation of new media, there is still no way of recreating the unique experience only live performance can deliver and The Helix at last gives Ireland a truly world class facility in which to experience this. The Helix is based in the heart of the campus of Dublin City University.

Ark, The

Located in the heart of Temple Bar, The Ark introduces children to the joy, wonder and challenge of the arts. Here, in a unique building designed specifically for them, children from two to 12 explore everything from theatre, music and literature to painting, sculpture and dance. They discover what it means to be an artist, from respected professional artists. There’s no better way to feed hungry young imaginations, or to begin a lifelong journey through culture.

Academy

The Academy is one of Dublin's newest live music venue situated on Middle Abbey Street. It is a unique city centre-venue that offers four floors of entertainment of every kind to music lovers of every persuasion.

Royal Theatre

The TF Royal Theatre in Castlebar is the third largest venue in Ireland capable of accommodating some of the biggest global acts, the most requested artists and the most spectacular shows available. St. John’s Theatre and Arts Centre

An ongoing programme of theatre, music, dance & films plus visual art exhibitions featuring national and international artists. Also arts education and outreach programme in speech and drama.

Solstice Arts Centre

Solstice Arts Centre opened to the public in April 2006. It is a symbol of the belief and pride that Co. Meath feels about its cultural and artistic life. Facilities include; 320 seat theatre space that can support the professional development of regional groups whilst producing a vibrant international professional performance programme, three gallery spaces finished to the highest standards, a studio space, foyer and café.
