As we enter the season of low light and short days, Uillinn: West Cork Arts Centre invited artists to respond the theme Winter Light, exploring such ideas as: transience of time and impermanence; dualities of light and shadow; atmosphere and texture; slowing down and introspection; dormancy and the promise of renewal.

Winter Light is a group exhibition of drawing, painting, print, photography and mixed – media by Cork city and county artists.

The exhibition includes work by Nora Buttimer, Johanna Connor, Patricia Devan, Claire Halliday, Kiriko Hashimoto, Claire Lambert, Rosemary Lynch,  Damaris Lysaght, Paula Marten, Geraldine Nagle, Mairéad Ní Mhaoláin, Noël O’Callaghan, Jacqueline O’Callaghan, Claire O’Shea, Ginny Pavry,  Fiona Power, Ben Reilly, Dick Richards, Nikki Tait and  Richard Winfield.
