Vincent Sheridan
from Monday 19 July
――― Online only ―――
We are delighted to present Vincent Sheridan as our new featured artist. Hear Vincent discuss his work, in an interview with Mateja Smic, and view a virtual solo exhibition. All of the work is ready to be dispatched and available to buy online.
Award-winning printmaker Vincent Sheridan has worked as a full-time artist for over 20 years. Having studied at the Dublin Institute of Technology and the National College of Art and Design, Dublin, his extensive traveling and time in the Canadian High Arctic has informed his work. He has been artist-in-residence at the West Baffin Eskimo Co-operative, Cape Dorset.
Crows and starlings feature largely in his work. He is concerned with the social behaviour, flight dynamics and subliminal ‘brushstroke’ patterns of birds in flight. His images often mirror human group dynamics, modes of communication and social interactions.
