Tamsin Snow & Sarah Tynan: Resort
Tamsin Snow and Sarah Tynan’s collaborative work focuses on the architecture of transient spaces such as a generic bus stop [Fountain], corporate lobby [Lobby Part 1&2] and an airport Multi-Faith room [MultiFaith]. These and other works derive from their on-going investigation into the legacies of modernist architecture as well as the examination of industrial materials and their historical origins. For this exhibition at the Mermaid Arts Centre, Tamsin Snow and Sarah Tynan will each present a newly commissioned body of the work supported by the Arts Council which will further explore this relationship between art, architecture and design.
