Seanie Barron and Quim Packard: Sticks and Stones will Break our Bones
Friday 29 July – Sunday 4 September 2016
Curated by Michele Horrigan
The exhibition explores ideas of nature and folklore and the many stories accruing from impassioned involvement by Seanie Barron and Quim Packard.
Stick and Stones Will Break Our Bones is curated by Michele Horrigan and is made possible by an Arts Council Visual Arts Curator Residency Scheme realised in collaboration between Askeaton Contemporary Arts and Limerick City Gallery of Art.
Throughout July, Askeaton Contemporary Arts present the eleventh edition of Welcome to the Neighbourhood, an annual programme of Irish and international artists living and working in the town of Askeaton, accompanied by public events and much local involvement.
