Sam Salem – neamhroinnte (Gallery 2)

neamhroinnte is a generative audiovisual installation for 2 HD projectors and 4 loudspeakers.

It is quiet, endless and non-interactive. neamhroinnte is an exploration of a forest in Roscommon, Ireland.

In the stillness, the smallest movements and moments became amplified and mysterious. The visual aspect of the installation is achieved through the use of several high definition projectors, which are arranged in such a way as to create a huge, slowly evolving composite landscape. The multi-channel sonic aspect is generative and therefore composed in order to ebb and flow indefinitely. The video documentation is edited in order to give an impression of the work in a reasonably short time-frame. It does no justice to uninterrupted sense of time in which the work functions and is merely included as illustrative documentation.

Matt Parker – The Cloud is more than air and water (Gallery 1)

Audiovisual Installation with 6.1 Multichannel sound and HD Projector. An installation investigating the mechanical nature and acoustic ecology of Data Centres and internet storage systems.

All audio and visual material developed by Matt Parker, recorded in various UK Data Center locations.
