Sacred trust: Donations and their Legacy showcases the wealth of artworks Hugh Lane Gallery has received over the past century; from 1908 to 2024.

Since its foundation in 1908, the gallery has been fortunate in receiving significant donations that add to the wealth and depth of this national collection of modern and contemporary art.

Donations from a new generation of supporters will be displayed alongside part of the original collection, setting up stimulating dialogues with their peers from an earlier age.
