Solomon Fine Art, in conjunction with the Design & Crafts Council of Ireland (DCCoI), Irish Design 2015 (ID2015) and The Doyle Collection, are pleased to host an exhibition of METALS & STONE by Ireland’s most renowned artists and makers.

PORTFOLIO: Metals & Stone will present over 30 innovative artworks by seven of this country’s most distinguished and lauded artists working in metal, each working in a centuries- old continuum. Featured makers include Michael McCrory, Cara Murphy, Stuart Cairns and Coilín O Dubhghaill (all of whom were selected for this year’s prestigious DCCoI ‘Critical Selection’ by a panel of Irish and International jurors) as well as Alan Ardiff, John Hogan and stone mason Helen O’Connell.  This stunning exhibition will showcase exceptional pieces created with gold, silver, copper, iron and other precious metals, using both ancient traditional and innovative contemporary techniques.
