Paul Hallahan: Running, Returning, Running
Running, Returning, Running is an exhibition of new paintings and a sound piece. The paintings are based on source material of an undisclosed walk taken regularly by the artist nearly daily for ten years. Hallahan looked in detail at the mundane and attempted to see past first glances and be engulfed by the world around him on a daily basis. The exhibition also has a sound work made in collaboration with based composer and musician Joseph Harney. A question of how to visualise a version of a palindrome through paintings and a sound work guides the exhibitions intent for the artist.
Paul Hallahan is an artist living and working in Dublin.
