MFA students of NCAD present Bigger Than Us, a group exhibition in which 12 artists collect to demystify the creative process and transcend the boundaries of difference. Individual artistic endeavours take on a life of their own and exceed the walls of the studio to join and allow insight into the chaos and uncertainty that corrals our contemporary and artistic experience. Through paint, media, sculpture and installation, we shape and showcase diverse consequences from our expectations, accepting our humanity in search of the ultimate wonder. Passing a thread through themes of growth, trauma, myth, fantasy.. We present a show that elevates the prevailing effort of the collective to grapple with all that is bigger than us.
