For Long Journey in a Short Space, Marie Hanlon has produced a body of paintings and drawings. These delicate and cleanly composed works explore spatial relationships, constantly seeking a point of balance while at the same time achieving an elegant mysteriousness. Hanlon’s works are in many public and private collections including the OPW, Goldman Sachs, Guinness & Mahon Bank and the Contemporary Art Society or Ireland.
