Limerick and the 1916 Rising
Monday 21 March – Sunday 15 May 2016
The Hunt Museum will display the Daly Collection from The Glucksman Library, The University Limerick. It consists of mostly letters which paint a picture of direct personal involvement with 1916 through the activities of a Limerick Family. These include letters of sympathy following the executions in 1916. The collection also consists of portraits of the Daly sisters and a poem referencing the execution of Roger Casement.
