This exhibition is a celebration of our members creativity and talents. It showcases the unique work of 32 artists from Lakers. Our intention while creating this body of work was to simply have fun and create from the heart and we hope that shines through the work. Art has given many of our members a voice and a way to express themselves while also offering them a social outlet and a chance to become part of a fun creative environment.

The works in the exhibition will be available for sale for those who wish to support the artists!

Based in Bray, Co Wicklow, Lakers was established in 1989 to support adults and children with intellectual disabilities. The organisation supports members to grow, learn and enhance their personal skills and confidence through a range of sports and social activities including football, basketball, cooking, art, skiing, computer literacy, dancing and much more. It runs over 60 activities a week for 400 members and is supported by over 160 volunteers.
