In this new series of paintings, my interest is in coordinating the cartography of the centre with that of the periphery; scrutinising the horizon for a new field of vision. This realignment of the centre vis-à-vis the periphery incorporates contradiction into its essential structure, creating a set of forms that establish a spatially coherent unit entitled Multipolar.
