Call for Submissions: dlr Open Submission Exhibition 2015

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council is delighted to invite submissions from artists who have studied in, are living in, working in or originally from Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown for the Visual Art Open Submission Exhibition to be held in the Municipal Gallery, dlr LexIcon, Dún Laoghaire.

Exhibition open to the public Saturday 14 February until Sunday 22 March 2015

The exhibition will be selected by Mark St. John Ellis, Director of NAG Gallery Dublin. The theme is ‘Home’, a word which has the power to conjure a wide range of intense feeling and evoke a sense of familiarity, reflection, identity and history.

dlr County Council will present an award of €1,000 to the overall winner of the Open Submission Exhibition and two runner up prizes of €250 each.

Original artworks must be submitted to the Municipal Gallery, dlr LexIcon on Tuesday 27 January 2015 between 10am and 4pm. Please note that this is the only day that entries will be accepted.

All work must be submitted with a completed official dlr application form.
