Helena Gouveia Monteiro is a Portuguese artist based in Dublin whose practice spans film and photography. She explores technical image-making through the history of experimental cinema and media archaeology. ends meet features a new film, commissioned by SIRIUS, and a complementary photographic series. The works represent cloud formations through a variety of analogue and digital, still and moving images, citing the personal correspondence between artists Alfred Stieglitz and Georgia O’Keefe.
