Gráinne Cuffe: New Work
Friday 16 June – Saturday 8 July 2017
“large-scale work gives me great satisfaction to achieve, maybe that has to do with being happy with large bolts of colour and a larger scale in general….Balancing the square has been a long preoccupation….Love of a sweeping line is also a strong element of the balancing act.”
Graphic Studio Gallery is delighted to present Gráinne Cuffe’s eagerly anticipated new solo show. An exhibition of 10 large scale works, made at Graphic Studio Dublin.
Well known for her intricate flowers studies, and oversized exuberant etchings, her new works depict lilies, tulips, and some sweet pea. An essay by Dr Angela Griffith, of Trinity College Dublin, accompanies the exhibition.
A selection of existing, smaller works, will be available from the browsers during the exhibition.
*The Gallery is closed on Saturday 24 June for essential maintenance.
