Partners: NCAD, IADT, Tisch School, NYU and the LAB.

Launch event: 21 April, 6pm

From Context to Exhibition is a contemporary look at how artists begin to translate collaborative processes and practice into the context of the white space. This year students on the Learning Development Programme (from NCAD, IADT, Tisch School, NYU ) worked with very diverse groups including residents of the Docklands, DART commuters; older people in Ballybough Community Centre Senior Citizens Complex ; the National Rehabilitation Centre; Dean Swift Ward, St Patricks.; Exchange Dublin; bellringers, Christchurch Cathedral; a Contact Improv Group located in Dance Ireland. The Learning Development Programme is an experiential learning programme providing the opportunity for student artists to engage in collaborative arts practice with communities of place and/or interest. Each year the student artists work with different communities around Dublin to create artworks.
