Frequencies 2013 | Seamus Nolan: Negating Public Space
Wednesday 21 August, 1 – 2pm
The National Sculpture Factory is delighted to announce its third speaker at this year’s Frequencies 2013 : Summer Lunchtime Lecture Series.
Irish artist, Seamus Nolan, is an artist who’s temporal and specific artworks operate within the public domain. He will discuss the idea of permeability between the object and its historical political and ideological context, examining the retroactive, the ritualistic and the radical.
All lectures in this series are free and open to all and will take place in the Mezz on the Factory floor. Seating is limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. We advise arriving early to guarantee admission.
Kindly supported by the River Lee Hotel.
