Fiona O’ Dwyer: I Went Up the Mountain with Someone Else’s Story and Came Down with My Own
Friday 21 June – Sunday 25 August 2019
Fiona O’ Dwyer’s work for her exhibition centres around the idea and reality of human movement, taking as its starting point her own family’s migration and displacement in 1950’s Ireland. The subject matter and imagery are very much rooted in a visual and sound language while also possessing a musicality and experiential poetic nature. A fully illustrated catalogue will coincide with the exhibition.
