Meath County Council Arts Office presents Ebb & Flow, an exhibition by Meath Arts Group.

Meath Arts Group is a group of around 25 artists from or living in Co. Meath, disciplined in various media – printing, painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, glass, mixed media and textile art. Having exhibited both individually and within group shows in Ireland and abroad, the group was formed 11 years ago to allow the participating artists to explore shared ideas. They meet on a regular basis to plan exhibitions, collaborate on themes and learn new skills. At various intervals artists share their ongoing work, thus unavoidably shaping and shifting how the theme is being read.

In this exhibition the artists are responding to the theme Ebb & Flow.

The varied subjects of the artworks represent the distinctive characters of the members, expressed by using different materials and processes and captures the diversity of interpretation.
The artworks create a rich tapestry of the individual artists’ response to the theme and blurs the boundary between reality and art.
