Displayed within former drawing studios, this exhibition investigates the history of drawing practice through selected works from the collection.

The exhibition features the work of Jo Allen, James Barry, Megan Eustace, Brian Fay, Angela Fewer, Samuel Forde, Sarah Longley, Daniel Maclise, Walter A. Mulligan, Karen O’Flaherty, John O’Leary, Suzy O’Mullane, Kathy Prendergast, Thomas Rowlandson, John Shinnors, Edith Somerville, and William Willes.

Coinciding with similar projects across Cork – namely MTU’s Drawbridge and Sample-Studios’ Drawing Connections – DRAWING ROOM will investigate the changes in drawing practice, observation, skill, and material choices, while also serving as an invitation for visitors to draw.
