Chapelizod Dereliction is the culmination of a nine-month community arts project led by Irish artist Debbie Chapman. It is a multimedia installation of drawings, photos, sculpture, painting, poetry and video.

The artistic interventions, instilled with community consciousness through the shared practices of the artist and the local people, endeavour to show the affects of the decline in the immediate environment on the residents of Chapelizod, Dublin.

The project was funded by Dublin City Council, the Ballyfermot/Chapelizod Partnership and heritage researchers, Eneclann.
