Curator’s Choice: Nuala O’Sullivan
Tuesday 1 March – Thursday 31 March 2016
The Curator’s Choice continues for 2016, having formed part of the legacy of the Hunt Museum’s contribution to Limerick City of Culture 2014.
The works on display (one artist each month) is the personal selection of Naomi O’Nolan, the Museum’s Head of Exhibitions. Naomi is a key member of the museum team since its inception and has a strong interest in, and enthusiasm for, contemporary Irish art. Her selection of artists affords the viewer an insight into a diverse, and yet clearly defined, and personalised, aesthetic. In this respect her selection mirrors the diversity of taste found throughout the Hunt Collection.
Alongside the exhibition, as part of the Artist Conversation Series, Nuala O’Sullivan will give a talk on Wednesday 16 March at 11.00 in the Hunt Café about her art practice. This is a very informal gathering and everyone is welcome to come along.
