Casey’s intimate and often nostalgic still-lives celebrate everyday objects ranging from blocks of cheese to beach toys which are singled out and meticulously observed. His compositions are universally simple, where the object is placed centrally against a neutral background, amplifying it’s presence and highlighting the artist’s skill and spectacular attention to detail.
