This programme features film screenings and performances by artists Shells Kamiel Le Cain, Lichun Tseng, Darja-Kazimira Zimina, Rouzbeh Rashidi & Maximilian Le Cain, and Mick O’Shea.
Friday 5 December, 7 – 10pm • free; no booking required
CineSalon is a festival that showcases personal, poetic and formally experimental filmmaking, celebrating the defiantly wild reeds of visionary practices in this medium. It is directed by artist Maximilian Le Cain.
The centrepiece of the programme is Weird Weird Movie Kids Do Not Watch the Movie, a haunting feature by Rouzbeh Rashidi & Maximilian Le Cain made in response to the ghostly atmosphere of the SIRIUS building and shot entirely within its walls. Although completed in 2013, this is the first ever screening in SIRIUS, bringing the work and its location and inspiration together in a unique experience.
This event is organised by CineSalon and supported by SIRIUS.
