Solomon Fine Art is thrilled to host the debut solo exhibition of paintings by Carol Hodder here at the gallery.

This is Hodder’s first and much anticipated solo show with Solomon, having successfully exhibited in gallery group shows in 2017.  A self-taught artist, Hodder investigates experiences of transient light, memory and place with her expressive, semi-abstract painting.  Based in County Cork, Hodder has shown widely throughout Ireland, has had works accepted by the Royal Academy in London and was awarded a residency at the prestigious Josef & Anni Albers Foundation in Connecticut USA.  In 2015 she won the Republic of Ireland award at the UK’s renowned National Open Art Exhibition and her prize-winning work toured throughout the UK.
