Solomon Fine Art is delighted to host an exhibition of new works on canvas by the popular Irish painter, Bridget Flinn. Following on from the success of her last exhibition which observed areas of transformation and development within the city, Not Far from Here continues to celebrate the changing cityscape and the street art and graffiti which forms part of Dublin’s identity.

In Not Far from Here Flinn focuses on the streetscapes and coastline near her Dublin home and studio. These distinctly urban paintings feature studies of building sites and iconic structures around the Dublin docklands and surrounding areas.  Cranes, scaffolding, shining glass cubes and flashes of graffiti dominate the skyline in juxtaposition with the old redbrick buildings that have been dwarfed by the new.
