Bricks in the Rain
Thursday 16 August – Sunday 14 October 2012
A group of Irish artists travelled to China last autumn for a months’ residency at the Fule International Ceramic Art Museum, having been invited to establish an Irish Pavilion of Ceramics. The journey was a feast for the senses, filled with adventure, friendship and cultural exchange. ‘Bricks in the Rain’ is the response to this residency featuring the work of nineteen artists, from the diverse backgrounds of clay, sound, word and film. Three Swiss artists shared the residency experience and will be part of this dynamic exhibition.
