Bernadette Kiely: SO MUCH WATER [so] CLOSE TO HOME
Saturday 3 February – Sunday 25 March 2018
To date, Bernadette Kiely’s work has consisted of painting and drawing underpinned by photography. Utilising oil paint and charcoal, her work aims to draw attention to the instability created by flooding locally on the River Shannon while simultaneously referring to the balance required for water to act as a resource globally rather than an environmental threat.
Bernadette Kiely’s exhibition runs simultaneously with and is complemented by an exhibition by artist Marie Hanlon.
