Peppercanister Gallery, Dublin will hold its first ever exhibition between father and daughter, artists Brian and Lisa Ballard. Brian is renowned for 3 or 4 decades for his strong painterly still lifes, nudes and landscapes. He is a rich colourist and, using vigorous brushstrokes, he fluidly applies slashes of colour. As an artist he is intensely preoccupied with light and colour, both of which he sees as the definitive elements within his work

Lisa will exhibit seascapes and shorescapes, delicate paintings of rocks and trees in her own distinctive manner. Her work ranges in scale and she effortlessly captures the atmospheric qualities of the landscape.
