Cork City and County Artists’ Winter Showcase

In the hush between moments, in the space where sound fades, there lies a world of quiet revelations. “Fragments of Silence” seeks to explore these delicate interstices-where absence speaks, where stillness holds memory, where whispers linger. We invited artists to present works that meditate on silence in its many forms: fragmented narratives, intimate reflections, ephemeral impressions, or resonances of the unseen. The artworks presented in this exhibition explore ideas of stillness, emptiness and the fleeting fragments of thought that surface when the world slows down.

The exhibition showcases work by artists from Cork county and city including Patricia Bevan, Tom Climent, Mags Geaney, Geoff Greenham, Sophie Gough, Claire Halliday, Kiriko Hashimoto, Rebecca Keyser, Paul La Rocque, Rosie Lynch Uí Mhurchú, Damaris Lysaght, Gordon Moxley, Noël O’Callaghan, Jane O’Farrell, Dick Richards, Sarah Ruttle, John Simpson, Nikki Tait, Rhoda Taylor, Catherine Weld, Tom Weld, Richard Winfield and Fran Woolf.
