Artists’ Film International | 2021 | Part Two
Artists’ Film International (AFI) is a collaborative project featuring film, video and animation from around the world. Established by the Whitechapel Gallery, London in 2008, AFI includes 20 global partner organisations.
Each organisation selects an exciting recent work by an artist from their region which is shared amongst the network. The programme is adapted to every venue and at Crawford Art Gallery, the films are screened in two parts during the year in the dedicated screening room on the second floor:
Part 1: 12 March – 7 June 2021
Part 2: 24 September 2021- 23 January 2022
Artists Film International 2021 programme responds to the theme of care. For this year’s participation Crawford Art Gallery has invited Irish artist Clare Langan to present her evocative film Flight from the City (2015).
At Crawford Art Gallery, the works are screened in two parts over the year in the dedicated screening room on the second floor. For an overview of previous artists’ films screened this year click here
