An Evening with… Cleary + Connolly | Gary Coyle
Cleary + Connolly
Artist talk: ‘Luas Carol’
Thursday 23 September 2010, 5:30 – 6:30 pm
As part of the screening programme, Denis Connolly (Cleary + Connolly) will talk about the filmic representation of a journey on Dublin’s Light Rail System where words, sounds and images from across times merge and collide ‘to recreate the dreamy, almost drugged state that one slips into while looking out of the window of a moving train.’
Cleary + Connolly are the 2009 recipients of the AIB Prize and have exhibited widely in Ireland and internationally, including Barbican, London, and Pompidou Centre, Paris.
