Sacred Space
Friday 13 February – Friday 1 May 2015
The exhibition is concerned with the contemporary making and unmaking of sacred space in Dublin. Through showcasing the work of communities, architects, photographers and academics, the exhibition and book celebrate the diversity and potential for inter-culturalism of cities in general and of Dublin in particular.
The project includes work by photographer Eugene Langan and architects O’Donnell & Tuomey, McCullough Mulvin and Niall McLaughlin, with essays in the catalogue by academics Dr Melanie Brown and Dr Eoin O’Mahoney, and Ali Grehan (Dublin City Architect) and (Dublin Heritage Officer).
