“In this new series, we’re asking our mediator team to share their thoughts on their favourite exhibits from past Science Gallery Dublin exhibitions.”
One of the open secrets of viewing shows at the Science Gallery, Dublin, is to ask the always-friendly mediators to give you a hand with understanding the piece you’re looking at. Not only do you hear what the work is about, but you may learn a lot else besides – like how the exhibit relates to the mediator’s own area of study, or how visitors to the Gallery are interacting with / reacting to the work. So this series on the mediators’ favourite exhibits is a great way of capturing some of what they know.
Current access is via the Science Gallery home page; hopefully the Gallery will create a more direct way of accessing this series.
