From the Arts Council of Northern Ireland Acquisitions Collection

The works are by emerging and established artists and will include pieces by artists such as Willie Doherty, Donovan Wylie, Mary McIntyre, Simon Burch and Jan McCullough.  Northern Ireland has a particularly strong photographic art scene and many artists from here are exhibiting their work nationally and internationally to great acclaim. This exhibition will show a range of subject matter including the arctic, portrait images, and landscape seen from a variety of perspectives.  The images make us question our society in different ways and the artists share their unique viewpoints.
